Pokémon Companion — Android beta
Free fan-made companion for Pokémon GO players — raids, events, Pokédex, field research, and trainer tools.
This product is in beta and not yet released on the public Play Store.
What this beta is
We are testing an unreleased Android app before a wider launch. Testers get the full app for free.
There is no paid subscription during this beta — sign in with Google (or email) for full cloud save.
What the app does
- Live raid rotations with counters and boss lookup
- Events, promo codes, and news
- Pokédex with GO stats and evolution CP calculator
- Field research, egg chart, Battle League, Team GO Rocket lineups
- Trainer contacts, map, messages, and weather (when signed in)
Independent fan tool — not affiliated with Niantic, Nintendo, Creatures Inc., or GAME FREAK.
This is not a scanner, spoofer, or bot.
How to join the beta
- Android phone only. You need a Google account on your device.

with the subject Pokémon Companion beta signup and include:
- The Gmail address on your Android phone (required for Play testing)
- Your country (optional)
- Whether you play Pokémon GO regularly (optional)
- We add you to the Google Play tester list and reply with an opt-in link.
- Open the link on your phone, accept the invite, then install from Google Play.
Account options in the app
Guest — try everything; progress is not saved after you leave.
Sign in with Google — recommended for beta; full cloud save at no cost during testing.
Testing checklist (~10–15 minutes)
After installing, please work through this list and send feedback when done.
Before you start
- Install from Google Play using your tester opt-in link.
- Use the Google account that was added to the tester list.
Core pass
- App opens without crashing on the welcome screen.
- Open the menu (☰) and visit: Main Page, Pokédex, Events, Field Research, Egg Chart, Battle League, Team GO Rocket.
- Main Page — raid boss list loads; try Quick Lookup search.
- Pokédex — search a Pokémon (e.g. Charizard); open detail view.
- Events — promo codes and/or news load without errors.
- Settings — change a preference; confirm it sticks if you are signed in.
Soft checks (if you play GO)
- Current raid bosses look plausible for this week.
- Event headlines do not look like placeholder text.
- Team GO Rocket lineups look reasonable if you compare in-game.
